When you make a meat-like food using vital wheat gluten, that is called seitan. It may get a bit dry so be sure to splash it with marinade. So excited to join the fam on steak night with something matching of my own, instead of a portobello or just sides! In my experimenting, I also tried boiling and baking the seitan, but steaming it was by far the best method for the ideal texture for a vegan steak. Did you read my mind??
